Coronavirus (COVID-19) - December 2021 Omicron update
Last updated 9.00am on the 1st of December 2021
Our current position
As of the 30th of November 2021 the new Omicron variant is making further restrictions mandatory. We are able to invite customers inside our studio to order and/or collect cakes with a one person/bubble allowed in at any one time. Face masks are now mandatory again inside our studio, also please use the Sanitiser available in the studio porch.
Cake Orders: We can continue to take cake orders in person at our studio during this new Omicron variant phase, but please do let us know that you intend to visit so we can make sure someone is available to see you.
Cake Collections: If we have given you a pre-arranged time slot please arrive promptly at our studio to try and avoid any congestion whilst we have new restrictions social distancing and mask wearing in place.
Cake Deliveries: Deliveries will be the same as before with our morning slot being 10.00am-12.00pm, and afternoon slot 12.00pm-2.00pm. We are allowed to hand-over your cake when we arrive at your address without the need for contactless delivery (leaving it on the doorstep).
If we have another customer inside our studio when you arrive we will kindly ask you to wait in your car until the previous customer has left. Thank you for your support in keeping one another safe during these unprecedented times!
Studio opening hours (please do not arrive unannounced)
Opening hours are 10.00am til 3.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and 9.00am til 12.30pm on Saturday (closed Wednesday's and Sunday's).
We are contactable via email (firstname.lastname@example.org), phone (01392 210243), website contact form, or Facebook DM.
Given the unprecedented situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to let you know what we are doing to help keep our customers and colleagues as safe as possible.
The health and wellbeing of our customers and colleagues is extremely important to us. We are committed to following official guidance from the government, ensuring all of our policies and procedures reflect the best available information and advice. We will operate a one person or one family bubble at a time policy in our studio by appointment only with shielding at the counter for the safety of staff and customers. Sanitisers will be available to use at the studio. We may need to ask some customers to wait outside until there is space available inside if you arrive without a pre-arranged time slot.
Keeping our studio clean and safe
As you will be aware the most effective way to minimise the spread of Coronavirus is regular hand washing. As a food retailer who make all our products on our premises, hand washing is inherent in the way we do things. We pride ourselves on high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the business, and have taken every opportunity to remind our team to follow the robust procedures that are already in place.
We have also taken further precautionary measures including more frequent cleaning and sanitising of all studio surfaces, card terminal, tills, doors and other equipment.
Keeping you informed
We will continue to monitor the situation closely, reviewing developments and the latest government advice to consider how this impacts our operational processes, staffing and the decisions we take. We will update you on any additional changes as soon as we can through our website 'craftycakes.com' and Facebook.
